There are actually many neat-looking classics series out there, but I think that for the sake of one's peace of mind you just need to choose one and stick to it. Unless you like bookshelves filled with a bit from here, another there, of course :) I prefer clothbounds (of course!) but I know I'll never buy them all, so I'm sticking to Penguin Classics for now :)

I never really thought of C. Brontë as anyone else but author of "Jane Eyre", and since this is such a legendary (someone over-chewed) story, I really want to see what her other texts look like! :)Rivhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04561804353287763337noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-833552366782548505.post-50041087410891925192013-05-25T15:47:04.388+03:002013-05-25T15:47:04.388+03:00Um so, the Penguin English Library one is pretty m...Um so, the Penguin English Library one is pretty much completely amazing. But, saying that, I have a lot of the classics and I like a bit of continuity on my shelves :) I hope you enjoy Villette. I started it a long time ago but I think I was still a bit dense then (it was at secondary school). Maybe if I try it again I'll have more luck. Obviously I will wait to hear your thoughts first :DElliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09362128444319074118noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-833552366782548505.post-58007483874866808162013-05-23T08:21:48.511+03:002013-05-23T08:21:48.511+03:00I agree. There was also a rather good cover for the Oxford World's Classics, a woman on stairs (I don't know exactly how that would relate to the story yet), so that would have been my second choice.
